ISLAMABAD, Jan 3: All the Pakistani players have won their respective matches in U-15, U-17 and U-19 age groups in 1st round of the British junior Open squash championship being played at Sheffield.

In U-15, Yasir Butt beat Graham Johnson 9/0, 9/3 9/1 while Farhan Mehboob outclassed Christopher 9/1, 9/1, 9/3.

In U-17, Safeer Khan downed Dariel Peter 9/0, 9/1, 9/0, Khalid Atlas beat Christopher Gordon 9/2, 5/9, 9/3, and 9/4 and Alam Zeb beat Nilo Piek 9/1, 9/0, 9/1.

In U-19 Saeed Hassan down Julian Illingworth 9/3, 9/2, 9/1, Shah Nawaz humbled George Bannister 9/2, 9/7, 9/0, Naseem Tahkali outgunned Ben Berstien 9/3, 9/2, 9/0, Majid Khan overwhelmed Razmus Hult 9/4, 9/0, 9/1, Imran Mohib routed Tarek Rehan 9/2, 9/3 9/0 Khayal Muhammad beat Eduardo Pereira 9/5, 9/0 9/3.—PPI
