GWADAR has been facing an acute shortage of water but no remedial measures have been taken as yet. Last year, the situation was so critical that a Pakistan Navy ship had to be dispatched to transport fresh water to the city to meet the reqirement of the residents.
The water crisis this year has also become alarming but the government appears insensitive to the needs of the population.
While the government is trying to build a world-class port, the city remains deprived of water.
