DERA MURAD JAMALI: A woman was gunned down and a man injured by her husband in a suspected honour-related case in the Notal area of Nasirabad district on Thursday.
According to the police, Zahoor Ahmed Bugti opened fire on his wife and her friend Faqira Bhangar in Goth Dad Mohammad Bugti. Ms Hanifa died while Mr Bhangar sustained injuries and was admitted to the district hospital. The suspect was arrested along with a pistol, police said.
Meanwhile, two people suffered injuries in the Mawand area of Kohlu district when their tractor hit a landmine.
