PSO pensioners

Published April 29, 2017

APROPOS Javed Ahsan Lodhi’s letter “PSO pensioners” (April 25). Pakistan State Oil would like to clarify that the company greatly values the services its pensioners rendered to this organisation against all odds.

The pensioners invested the most precious time of their lives into the growth and proliferation of the organisation for which it will ever remain in their debt.

The PSO takes special care of the needs of its pensioners and strives hard to extend every possible benefit for their welfare. The yearly increase in pensions is one of the perks.

The PSO requires special approval of its board of directors to roll out the annual increase in pensions. The company duly submitted the proposal for the raise in pension and it has been honoured. The pensions will be released as soon as the approval has been given.

The PSO would further like to inform pensioners that the yearly increase in pensions for the financial year 2017 was approved by the PSO Board of Management recently and will be paid as decided.
