Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Saturday said that he will now go after PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari as his struggle to pursue the alleged corruption charges against Prime Minister Nawaz has almost reached a conclusion.
While addressing his supporters in Sindh's Badin district, Imran regretted that he could not visit the province earlier as he was focusing on pursuing alleged rigging in the 2013 general elections.
"I spent a year on this issue," the PTI chief said, adding the Panamagate case verdict "has revealed the true face of Nawaz Sharif".
"Now the prime minister is stuck with the joint investigation committee. Asif Zardari, I am coming after you," the PTI chairman said as his supporters cheered him on.
"He has ruled over Sindh using politics of fear," he alleged, adding that Zardari owns sugar mills in the province yet "the poor farmer who grows sugarcane is unable to get his rightful earning".
"He has property everywhere. Is he really sympathetic to your suffering?" Imran said, casting doubt over Zardari's loyalties to the people of Sindh.
"Nawaz Sharif built his empire in Punjab while Zardari built his in Sindh. There, Nawaz rigged the election, here Zardari rigged the polls," he alleged, claiming the two leaders are taking turns and have secretly agreed as to how they will rob the country of its resources.
"Both have money abroad. Both are involved in money laundering," Imran claimed, urging voters to demand an explanation from Zardari and ask him to explain how he acquired his assets.

Imran wants ro be a hero, but he still will need more votes than Nawaz Sharif. So far the Prime minister has not been forced to leave office. Imran can attack Zardari but the PPP will still receive the majority of votes in Sindh even without their own prime minister or president. Asif Zardari can always fly back to Dubai.

Serious comments on behalf of the PTI chief. What the time hold for him would be matter of the swiftness of events in the comming days. Given the current situation in which all the serious cases of allegations against the PPP's chairman are subsiding unlike PM Nawaz Sharif it can not not be said with certainty that Mr. Imran would cast an adverse effect on the his vote bank in Sindh province apart from a bitter colletral political vitriol.

People have more fear and face slavery type environment in KPK than Sind. People still migrating Sind and Punjab from KPK because there are more prosperity. Pay more attention to your own people and less to other people leaders.

No change has brought by PTI govt in KPK. Recommendation is still required from political personnel for aquiring the govt job. I have noticed this during an interview in peshwar WSSP company for the post of Assistant Manager. Nawaz, zardari and Imran all three are of same category.

If you think Zardari is honest and has the capacity, capability and intention to do anything good for the country then by all means support that guy. At least IK is trying to change the corrupt leadership which has not given anything to this unfortunate nation.
