A request to some animals

This is regarding the article “A request to some animals” by Bushra Ali (YW, March 18). The article rightly presented the habits of some animals that we find around us and the writer brilliantly wrote in a humorous tone, thus it turned out to be an awesome read.

I couldn’t stop laughing at how the writer addressed these animals. It is my request to the YW team and the writer to write similar articles about other animals.

Importance of libraries

A place, where candidates get maximum facilities to study is a library. The library is the most significant place for all students of different classes and ages who sit and study on equal terms. Besides, common people can also read newspapers and magazines. Libraries prove to be very helpful for candidates who cannot afford to buy expensive books.

It is thus the responsibility of the government to build more and more libraries in all cities of Sindh and provide up-to-date books so that students can get the best education and achieve success. It will ultimately make this nation an educated one.

Our country, Pakistan

Pakistan is our country. But people who live in Pakistan don’t realise that this country has given us identity and freedom. These people don’t think about Pakistan, or its bright future.

They don’t realise the hardships and the sacrifices of our forefathers for this country. If this country would not have been there, one cannot imagine life under someone else’s rule.

We should be proud of our country, Pakistan, where we are living free. Remember friends, if we respect our country, everyone else will respect it.

Pakistan Zindabad!

Sharing multiplies joys

This is with reference to the story “Sharing multiplies joys” by Syeda Armeen Nasim (YW, April 8)

The story was probably the best short story I had ever read. It gives us the lesson that we should share our toys with our friends and siblings. I read this story to my sister at night and told her to not keep her toys clutched to her heart rather share her toys with her friends.

She got my point and vowed to share her toys with her friends.

Thanks to the Young World we can learn about these essential moral values.
