Three die in Hairpur

HARIPUR, July 29: Three people, including an elderly woman, were killed in different incidents here on Monday, police said.

Mubarik Jan, wife of Ghulam Habib, died when she was hit by a speeding car in village Eesa here. The driver is stated to be a close relative of the deceased woman.

Sadaqat Khan, son of Sharif Khan, resident of village Kundi Ghazi, was electrocuted while repairing a pedestal fan at his residence.

In the third incident, the body of a minor boy, namely Akhtar Nawaz, son of Mohammad Yusuf, was recovered from an underground water tank here in Sikandarpur. The victim was resident of village Golian Mera. He had gone to Sikandarpur along with his family to attend a marriage ceremony.
