After their latest victory against the West Indies in the one-day international series on Tuesday, Pakistan added another feather to their cap and achieved the second highest number of wins in the ODI series to date.

Pakistan defeated West Indies by six wickets owing to the match-winning partnership of centurion Shoaib Malik and Mohammad Hafeez who scored 81 runs.

Pakistan has won 460 ODI matches out of the 874 the team has played.

The team with the most ODI victories is four-time world champions Australia winning 554 matches from a total of 898 that it played.

India now stands behind the green shirts with 459 ODI victories out of the 907 one-day internationals that it has played.

In addition, Pakistan also emerged as the winning team after defeating India in 72 one-day international matches out of the 127 the arch-rivals have played so far.

Pakistan also has secured the most victories in Twenty20 internationals with 67 wins out of the 114 matches.

It ranks sixth among the teams with most wins in Test matches, standing at 130 out of the 407 Tests the team has played.

Overall, Pakistan currently stands third across all three cricket formats with 657 wins out of 1,395 matches.

Australia tops the list with 978 wins out of the 1,792 international matches; England stands second with 727 victories out of the 1,758 international matches whereas India stands fourth with 646 wins out of the 1,500 international matches the team played.
