ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) will be sending U-18 national team to participate in a junior domestic championship in Australia.

Talking to APP, PHF secretary Shahbaz Ahmed Sr said the squad would be flying to Australia on Thursday to participate in the championship.

“This is the first time ever that our team will be competing in the Australian domestic championship,” Shahbaz said, adding the tour would help the U-18 Pakistan players learn more about the game.

“Coaching will also be provided to our players in Australia,” he said.

According to Shahbaz, the U-18 players would be staying in Australia for five months.
