Today I realised, why Muhammad Ali Jinnah wanted separate country for minorities in India.

This is a case of intolerance against dating or trying to have your own boyfriend. This incident could have very well happened against a Hindu guy who was not to be the same caste as the girl. While it is unfortunate that such a thing happened, it cannot be necessarily due to religious difference alone. Jharkhand, incidentally is an area with a lot of tribal and feudal influence.

I am from Pakistan and condemn this act fully, however, I hope that all my Pakistani friends are also aware of the latest incident in which n Ahmedi vet killed?

Why don't Modi and his gang change Indian constitution and declare India as Hindu state? This non sense of secular India should end so the world community can deal with the real India.

As to your point about treatment of minorities in Pakistan and India, I will be the first to say that this part of the world needs a lot of improvement on this count. But who are you to say we cannot comment on what goes on in India, when any article about Pakistan and its minorities brings all you Indians on in full self-righteous mode? Here is another good point to consider: the treatment of minorities in both India and Pakistan proves the point of the two nation theory, and that as much as possible, Muslims should not be made to live under Hindu rule, and vice versa. But a Muslim majority area, Kashmir, did come under Indian rule, with terrible consequences for its majority community, as would have been the case if Hindu majority Junagadh had become a part of Pakistan. This must be corrected.

@Ayub No doubt these incidents are unacceptable, but it is not new. There are similar instances where people have killed couples when they belong to different caste (both being Hindus) in the name of honour killing. I believe honour killing exist in Pakistan also. Massive social reforms are necessary to save people from these primitive thoughts, along with strong punishment for the culprits. I think this is needed in both India and Pakistan.

@N_Saq India has suffered due to riots in the past. Notably were 1984 and 2002, where thousands of Indians died. Although some elements bringing religious fervour in the debates, but still they are very very small and not in a position to cause any major disturbance.
