In summer, we all scream for ice cream. And when you are having the urge to have the cool creamy taste of this divine dessert, there is no need to rush to the shop as you can make it at home any time, and without an ice cream maker too.

Here is a very simple recipe that you can make with no adult help and just two main ingredients. You can modify it to make it into any flavour you desire. I have made an Oreo ice cream that tastes like a dream.

Ingredients

• 2 cups or 480ml cream

• 1 can sweetened condensed milk

• 12 Oreos

• 1 tsp vanilla essence

Method:

Crush the cookies into a crumble by hand to get pieces of sizes. In a large bowl, whisk cream and vanilla essence on high speed until soft peaks form.

Fold in condensed milk until blended. Fold in crushed cookies. Pour this mixture in any container with a lid to make sure it remains airtight. Cover and freeze for at least six to eight hours or until firm. Use any topping or just enjoy it as it is!

Note: The cream I used comes in 200ml packs, so I used almost 2.5 packets for this recipe, however, instead of wasting the leftover half pack, you can use the whole three packets, which will make 600ml, and still get excellent result because the ice cream was very sweet with the measurement I used and it can easily incorporate more cream without any issue.
