KARACHI: The Karachi Table Tennis Association (KTTA) in collaboration with Islamia Club has decided to commemorate the World Table Tennis Day on April six in a befitting manner, organisers said on Tuesday.

The KTTA has chalked out an elaborate programme to organise under-12, under-18 boys and girls singles competitions besides a veteran’s event for over 40 players besides cutting a cake to mark the occasion..

Players who are interested to compete in these events have been asked to register their names at Islamia Club by April five.

The chairman of the KTTA and two-time former national champion Jawaid Hayat and three-time former SAF Games gold medallist Arif Khan have asked the present and former players to come to Islamia Club on April six and join the celebration.
