Before Fawad Khan became a successful actor thanks to his stint in Bollywood, he was a musician. Let’s put it this way, he started out in showbiz as the lead vocalist for the band Entity Paradigm (EP), then struck gold as an actor by appearing in the TV play Humsafar, which subsequently landed him meaty roles in Indian films.

Now that he has less acting assignments (because he isn’t doing Bollywood for now) Fawad K is reportedly involved in a music programme soon to be launched by a soft drink-manufacturing company. Some suggest he will perform in the gig, others say he is there in a yet-to-be-disclosed capacity. Well, if his singing act at last year’s IIFA awards is anything to go by, he needs a lot of riyaz to reclaim his position as a musician.
