KARACHI: A healthy five-race card awaits racegoers in the Gymkhana race meeting when it resumes after a fortnight at the Karachi Racecourse on Sunday.

The last week races that were scheduled to take place on March nine were cancelled for want of competition.

A good number of 37 horses have entered the day’s races barring last-minute withdrawal.

With the exception of first race that will be contested over four-and-a-half furlongs, the remaining four races will go over five furlongs.

The fifth and the last which is the feature event, scale order I and II combined race, has a field of six horses.

The first race starts at 2.30pm.

Fast Departure 9-2, Shandar Love 9-2, Satisfy 8-11, Blue Fairy 8-11, Sonia Again 8-10, Galaxy 8-7, New Hope 8-6, Sea Gold 7-8.

Win: Galaxy.

Place: New Hope and Blue Fairy.
