IF any company or organisation starts work anywhere, it should follow all rules and regulations. The Polish Oil Gas Company (POGC) has been working for five years in the mountainous areas of Khirthar-Gorakh. It is situated 35km to the west of Dadu district.

The land from where POGC has been obtaining oil is in the name of poor villagers who have been living there for ages. Before starting the digging work, the company had promised the villagers to provide a hospital, a metalled road and a water-filtering plant. Unfortunately, not even a school has been constructed there.

Whenever villagers raised a hue and cry, company contractors intervened saying that they would be helped soon as an application had been sent to Islamabad for approval in their favour.

It is a plea to the POGC that the villagers want justice, besides approval.
