Two boys rape four-year-old girl in Layyah

LAYYAH: Two boys allegedly raped a four-year-old girl in Rajan Shah union council area of Karor tehsil on Friday.

Victim’s father said that her daughter was playing in a house when her cousin took her to a nearby shop to buy her sweets. On their way back, another boy met her cousin and they both took the girl to a nearby field and molested her.

He said a passerby found the girl in a critical condition and was shifted to the Karor THQ Hospital.

WMO Dr Faryal confirmed to Dawn that the girl was raped.

SHO Sarfaraz Ahmed said one of the suspects was arrested while raids were being conducted for the arrest of his accomplice.

Police have registered a case against the two suspected boys under section 376 of the PPC on the report of the victim’s father.

Our family system is collapsing or I am wrong it has collapsed already. We need to work very seriously to make our homes secure for our kids and have to come out of that traditional family system concept. Time to face the realities as it is already too late

Our society has become so terribly sick. Just 4 years old little innocent girl had to suffer sexual violence by two older boys. But our Mullahs will never raise their voice against this rampant sexual abuse against little children and women in Pakistan.

This happens because of lack of sex education. It should start from home, the parents should teach their male child how to respect woman/ girls. Teachers should teach biology subject properly especially the chapter on reproduction (most of them are ashamed to take class on that which increases the curiosity in children) and conduct class on sex education with the help of experts.
