PESHAWAR: An eight-day photo exhibition themed ‘human stories through photography’ will kick off at the Nishtar Hall gallery here today (Thursday).

The Tourism Corporation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (TCKP), directorate of culture, European Union, United Nations Information Centre, French Embassy, UKAid and Agency France Press have jointly organised the event.

The exhibition will showcase a collection of 102 professional photographs documenting human stories of development in Pakistan.

The event is aimed at promoting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The exhibition will start at 10am and continue till 4pm daily, and will be opened to students and families.

Secretary sports, tourism and culture Mohammad Tariq, TCKP managing director Mushtaq Ahmed Khan, director culture Ajmal Khan, director general for UN Sustainable Development Goals, and other dignitaries will attend the exhibition.

The photo exhibition will focus on the SDGs that represent a common agenda adopted by the world leaders to end poverty, fight inequality and injustice and tackle the climate change by 2030.
