KARACHI, July 24: Two female students of Defence Authority Degree College for Women have bagged the top positions in the BSc (Pass) annual examination 2001-2003.

According to the results announced by the University of Karachi, Miss Sariya Abid Butt won the coveted first class first position while Miss Deenaz Amin Muhammad clinched the overall third position in the exams.

Ms Sariya attributed her crowning success to her persistent hard work and prayers of her parents. She said that teachers of her college not only gave her guidance but also enabled her to discover her hidden talents and potentials. She said that she wanted to do Masters in the discipline of Genetic Engineering in future.

Ms Amin said that the disciplined yet intellectually vibrant environment at the college played a pivotal role in her success. She said that she wished to pursue her postgraduation in the field of genetic engineering.—APP
