DADU: The Sindh Civil Society Forum organised a march in the Sehwan town on Sunday in protest against the suicide attack at the shrine of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar and growing terrorist attacks in the country.

The procession started from Duhamel Chowk and ended at the main entry gate of the shrine. It was led by famous classical dancer Sheema Kirmani, Punhal Saryo, Javid Soze, Javid Kazi, Mustafa Meerani, Mushtaq Meerani, Ishaq Mangryo, Waheedan Mahisar, Amar Sindhu, Raheeman Panhwar and Zaffar Junejo.

Expressing solidarity with devotees and conveying the message of unity and peace, Sheema Kirmani also performed devotional dance in the courtyard of the shrine.

Speaking on the occasion, she said that Lal Shahbaz Qalandar had spread the message of peace and unity. Javid Soze held the Sindh government responsible for the blast and called for adequate security at all shrines in the province.

Later, the activists visited the caretaker of the shrine, Syed Wali Mohammad Shah, and offered condolences over the death of devotees in the bombing.
