KARACHI: The Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto women’s hockey Gold Cup will be organised in Sukkur from March 4 to 13.

A decision to this effect was taken at the executive committee meeting of the Sindh Hockey Association (SHA) women’s wing that took place at the Abdul Sattar Edhi hockey stadium recently.

Chaired by the SHA women’s wing president, Khushbakht Shujat, who also heads the PHF women’s wing, the meeting decided to organise an all-Pakistan event befitting to the name of Ms Bhutto.

The meeting also decided to organise an all-Pakistan inter-departmental women’s hockey tournament and an all-Sindh inter-division hockey tournament during the year.

The meeting also reviewed the report of activities held in the preceding year.
