LAHORE: While Quetta Panthers entered the final, Karachi Dolphins finally tasted first win as two more matches were decided in the first National Women’s Hockey League at the National Hockey Stadium here on Monday.

Quetta Panthers brush aide Peshawar Deers 3-0. Aqsa Javed broke the ice in the 12th minute, while Sana Allah Ditta doubled the lead in the 24th minute through a field effort.

Quart-ul-Ain, who was declared as player-of the-match, struck the third goal to complete the tally.

Karachi Dolphins, meanwhile, carved a 2-0 win against Islamabad Shaheen 2-0 after having lost their first two matches.

The Dolphins had a goal in each half through field efforts goals by Saira Ashraf and Humaira Rafi, respectively.

Saira was later adjudged player-of-the-match.
