SWABI: Two persons were shot dead in separate incidents in Razaar tehsil here on Sunday, said police Both the incidents occurred in Sheikh Jana village.

Sameenullah Khan got registered an FIR in Kalu Khan police station, stating that his brother Mujibur Rehman had gone out of his home, but did not return for long time which worried the family. We started a search for him, and found his body in nearby fields, said the complainant, adding there were several bullet wounds on his body.

Similarly, Sahib Zada was shot dead by unknown persons in the same village.

Gul Zamin, brother of the deceased, told police in the FIR that the victim was sleeping in their hujra during the night when suddenly gunshots were heard, and they rushed to the spot only to find that he was lying in a pool of blood. The complainant said the family had no enmity with anyone and the cause of the killing was unknown.

Meanwhile, the police claimed to have traced the killer of a woman who was murdered six days ago in Utla village. SHO Liaqat said her husband had admitted to killing his wife over some domestic issue.

Police also arrested two people who allegedly killed a taxi driver of Topi city a few days ago.
