Rawalpindi ties hit by rain

RAWALPINDI, Dec 23: Only 30.5 overs were possible because of rain and bad light in Rawalpindi as Allied Bank reached 109 for four in reply to KPT’s first innings score of 225 on the second day of the Patron’s Trophy Pool ‘B’ match at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on Tuesday.

Opening batsman Wajahatullah Wasti stroked 56, an innings in which he struck 10 fours. KPT had earlier scored 225 in their first innings on Monday.

Meanwhile, there was no play on the second day at the KRL Stadium where Habib Bank are playing Sui Gas.

Sui Gas were bowled out for 152 on Monday’s while Habib Bank replied with 53 for two.
