The famous tea vendor from Islamabad, Arshad Khan, who catapulted to international fame as soon as a photographer uploaded his pictures on social media, is literally and figuratively going places. After taking the fashion world by storm, the man has caught the fancy of theatre practitioners as well. Tamaseel Theatre in Lahore has come up with a play called Chai Wallah, directed by Nasim Vicky. Nasim V also plays the lead character of the chai wallah in the drama. Given the actor/director’s inexperience in selling tea, he might have trouble marketing his product, if you know what I mean.
