LAHORE, Dec 20: Four matches were decided on first day of the Punjab University Women’s Inter-collegiate basketball championships on Saturday.
Garrison Post Graduate College, Lahore Cantt beat Government College, Gulberg 15-14 after locking at 9-9 at the half time.
Government College, Baghbanpura, Lahore outplayed Islamabad College F-6/2, 18-7 after taking 4-3 lead at the interval.
Government College, Samundari thrashed College of Home Economics, Lahore 30-8. The winners led the first half 13-2.
Punjab University Teaching Departments crushed Queen Mary College 43-9 after gaining 15-5 lead in the first half.
