LAHORE: A 17KW solar net metering system has been installed on roof of the Lesco’s head office building on Shahra-i-Fatima Jinnah.

It will facilitate Lesco headquarters in bearing total electricity load of the building by using solar energy in peak and loadshedding hours.

“A two-way meter has been installed in the system that will calculate the units being consumed in the building both from Lesco supply and the solar-based power. The additional solar energy will be added to the distribution system,” says a Lesco spokesman.
