KHUZDAR / GWADAR: Personnel of the Frontier Corps (FC) on Sat­urday arrested two suspected members of the banned Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) in Hub, Lasbela district.

An FC spokesman said that security personnel carried out an intelligence-based raid in Hub and arrested two suspects with links to the TTP.

FC personnel also arrested six suspected militants in a bazaar in Bilangor area of Kech district.

An FC spokesman said the suspected members of a banned outfit were arrested during a search operation.

“The six suspects taken into custody have links with the banned Baloch Repub­lican Army (BRA),” he said.

An investigation team was interrogating the suspects while further investigations were being carried out, he added.
