ISLAMABAD: Chairman of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Qamar Zaman Chaudhry has held a meeting with the governor of Chinese province Xinjiang, Shohrat Zakir, in Urumqi, China.

Matters of mutual interests came under discussion during the meeting.

The NAB chairman informed the governor of Xinjiang province that the bureau had chalked out a comprehensive three-pronged strategy — awareness, prevention and enforcement — to eradicate corruption in Pakistan.

In his remarks, Mr Zakir said signing of an Memorandum of Understanding between China and Pakistan would help both the countries to work jointly for the eradication of corruption.
