KOHAT: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Law Minister Imtiaz Shahid Qureshi has said that the World Bank would provide Rs2 billion for the reconstruction of Shakardarra-Karappa road.

He was addressing a workers’ convention at Mohammdazai here on Friday. He was accompanied by MPA Ziaullah Bangash, PK-39 PTI president Mohammad Arif and a number of party workers.

The minister said that the workers should shun their differences and participate in the Nov 2 protest in Islamabad for the sake of the country. He said that the days of the government had been numbered.

The workers who were divided in many groups criticised the distribution of funds by the MPs and not carrying out any mega project during the last three years. They criticised MNA Shehryar Afridi for not holding a single public meeting since coming into power.

They said that the MNA had not approved any big project from the millions of royalty funds. They said that only this year he had got Rs300 million as royalty.
