KARACHI: The Lyceum School outplayed The City School Gulshan to clinch the U-19 girls basketball final while Nixor College beat City School PAF by five points to win the U-19 boys basketball final at the Karachi School Olympics organised by the Karachi Divisional Olympic Association at various venues recently.

Lyceum School girls bagged 24 points as opposed to City School Gulshan’s 20. In the boys’ final, Nixor scored 39 points while their opponents in the City PAF could muster only 32 points in front of a sizeable crowd.

In the inter-school U-17 football event, City School Darakhshan clinched first position while City School PAF were runners-up with Practical School finishing third.

KDAA president Mehtab Chawka was the chief guest who distributed prizes among teams.
