The top seven footballers in the world

This is with reference to the “The top seven footballers in the world” by Ahmad Shafique Malik (YW, August 27). I loved reading about these footballers and the pictures were also fabulous.

I want to give a suggestion to the YW team to write about the top ten players in every sport. This way we can know more about various sports and the top ten players in them.

Things Muslims introduced to the world

This is regarding the cover article “Things Muslims introduced to the world” by Javaid Hyder (YW, September 3). The article was amazing and I wonder why I didn’t know anything the writer discussed in the article. We usually think that Europeans have invented most of the things but in reality we are blessed to have such Muslims in the past as well as today. There is a need to highlight their contribution.

I appreciate the writer and the YW team for giving this information to us.

The weekly weird

This is regarding the news “Two-year-whiz kid” in The weekly weird (YW, August 27). Knowing about kids who are intelligent and genius always inspires me. They give the motivation to work hard and believe in one’s capabilities.

I believe most kids take inspiration from such informative news that YW publishes and I really appreciate their effort in compiling such amazing stuff for us.

“The weekly weird” section in YW is ever amazing. I love the whole magazine but it is the odd news that I go through first and after that “Spotlight” and “Word of the week”. Every week, I am just too eager and excited to get the copy of the YW so that I can read my favourite columns.

An unforgettable party

This is with reference to the story “An unforgettable party” by Rayyan Ali (YW, September 3). The story was unique and not like the typical moral stories that kids write in YW.

It was fun-filled and hilarious and kept the readers interested till the end.

Stories like this are unique and not many kids can write in such a way. I appreciate Rayyan Ali for writing a wonderful story. Also, I would like to suggest to the YW team to give more space to stories that have unique topics and which are different from the typical moral stories.
