MARDAN: The death toll of Mardan district courts suicide attack reached to 14 as another injured person succumbed to his injuries at Lady Ready Hospital Peshawar on Monday.

Officials of City police station told media persons here on Monday that the victim identified as Sadiq, 70, resident of Labour Colony, who had received critical injuries and was referred to LRH in precarious condition, passed away at LRH.

They said the injured person lost battle of his life after remaining in critical condition at the hospital for three days.

Later in the day, he was laid to rest in his ancestral graveyard in Mardan. Police officials, members of civil society and a large number of residents of the area attended his funeral.
