KARACHI: The motorway police sensitised around 250 deaf and blind students at Ida Rieu School and College regarding road safety.

“Motorway police are leaving no stone unturned to reduce the risk of road accidents,” said Motorway Police DIG Dr Waliullah at a special road safety session arranged at the Ida Rieu school and college for deaf and blind at Karachi, said a spokesperson for the motorway police on Monday.

The DIG said the motorway police took the responsibility of training deaf and blind students on a regular basis regarding road safety, as this area was earlier neglected. The mobile education unit of the motorway police through a multimedia presentation sensitized the students about road safety.
