DERA MURAD JAMALI: The Balochistan police have arrested a suspect in the Garhi Khairo area in Jacobabad district of Sindh who is allegedly involved in the killing of three labourers in Nasirabad district of Balochistan.

Police said here on Monday that acting on a tip-off they raided a house in Garhi Khairo and arrested the suspect, identified as Zaman, in a murder case.

They said Zaman allegedly killed three labourers in the Manjho Shori Tambo area about two months ago.

Armed men riding a motorcycle opened fire on a group of labourers when they were busy in construction work of a water course funded by the provincial government. Three of them died in the incident.

Zaman reportedly fled the area after the incident.

After the arrest, the suspect was shifted to a police station in Balochistan where he was being interrogated.
