Plea to Sindh CM

Published August 14, 2016

THE people of Sindh are glad that the province now has a chief executive who is at least trying to act as a servant of the people and attempts to ameliorate their suffering.

I would like to inform Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah that a large number of people suffering from various ailments and diseases in the hinterland have no alternative except come to Karachi to seek expert medical help.

Many of these hapless souls come under extreme stress for a number of reasons. They have to make the journey along with two or three attendants to look after them. It is sad that there are no proper medical facilities for treatment even in district headquarters in the interior of Sindh.

Their woes multiply when they find doctors are invariably absent from duty and medicines are not available in government hospitals. The chief minister should take prompt measures in this sector as well.
