KARACHI, Nov 30: Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad Khan toured various areas of the city on Sunday to know the problems being faced by the people.

He exchanged views with the people regarding the law and order and other issues pertaining to the city.

Governor expressed satisfaction over peaceful conditions during Eid days and praised the law enforcing agencies for their role towards improved law and order.

The foreign investors were being attracted due to improved governance, he said, adding that a number of joint ventures and signing of MOUs reflected growing confidence of the investors in government policies.

He recalled that soon after assuming the office of Sindh governor he issued ordinance against “Bhatta”, which was effective.

He said he was the first to raise voice against “Karo-Kari” and was happy now as a large number of people had joined his struggle to end this social menace.

He assured the people that development schemes for the city would be implemented with great determination and dedication. —APP
