KHAIRPUR: Two bodies recovered

KHAIRPUR, Nov 30: Two bodies were recovered from two different parts of the district on Sunday.

A man identified as Basheer Ahmed, 25, son of Allah Dino Rind, was found dead near the Peshawari Hotel in the jurisdiction of the A-Section police station.

The body was handed over to the relatives of the dead man.

Another body of a mentally retarded man, Adam Khan, son of Sarwar Jogi, was found from a well in Bagh Bacharah village, Thari Mirwah taluka.

Khan had gone missing for the last week.

SUBMERGED: A primary school, high school, hospital and some houses were submerged in Milri village on Saturday evening due to overflow of the Sim Wah.

The villagers said that de-silting work on the minor was not carried out for a long time which had resulted in the overflow.
