KARACHI: Ceasefire along LoC slammed

Published December 1, 2003

KARACHI, Nov 30: Denouncing unilateral ceasefire along the Line of Control between Pakistan and India by the government, Islami Jamiat Talaba has vowed “not to allow anybody to make compromises on Kashmir against aspirations of its people.”

“Scores of Pakistani youths, women and children have sacrificed their lives fighting along their Kashmiri brethren for independence of occupied state and nobody would be allowed to freeze the issue on US directives,” IJT Nazim Monim Zafar Khan said while speaking to a gathering of party workers and members of IJT Shura on Sunday.

IJT leader further asked the workers to intensify their efforts for creating awareness among fellow students and common people about the US’s hegemonic designs against the Muslims, especially in South Asia.—PPI
