LAHORE: One-day trials to select two Punjab teams for the forthcoming National Women Hockey Championship will be held at the National Hockey Stadium here on July 25.

The event is scheduled to be staged at the Naseer Bunda Hockey Stadium in Islamabad from Aug 5 to 12. Like Punjab, Sindh will also place two outfits in the national event, while Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan and Islamabad will field one team each. Teams from Wapda, Army, HEC and Police will also feature.
