Demo against police held

KHAIRPUR, Nov 29: Residents of the Saeed Khan Lakho village along with their children continued their protest demonstration and hunger strike against the excesses of Kandhara police on the Court Road here on Saturday.

They were protesting against the arrest of two youths Mohammad Bux Samoon and Mohammad Saleh Lakho. They said that the police were torturing them in the lock-up.

They demanded immediate release of the arrested persons.

BOY KILLED: A child, Mohammad Essa, was crushed under the wheels of the Super Express train when he was crossing the railway line near the Sialabad railway station here on Friday evening.
