KARACHI, Nov 29: Advisor to Sindh chief minister for home affairs, Aftab Ahmad Sheikh, has directed IG jails Sindh, Brig Nisar Mehar, to provide prisoners with facilities according to the jail manual.

He spent Eid with prisoners at the Karachi Central Jail and discussed their problems. He directed the IG to resolve the problems of prisoners and send their cases to the home department.

Mr Sheikh further directed that a list of prisoners denied bail in minor crimes and those not produced in courts for years be prepared and sent to him.—PPI
