KARACHI: Four additional judges of the Sindh High Court took oath on Wednesday, taking the total number of sitting judges to 36.

SHC Chief Justice Sajjad Ali Shah administered the oath to Justices Rasheed Ahmed Soomro, Mohammed Hamayoon Khan, Arshad Hussain Khand and Mohammed Saleem Jesser at a simple and graceful ceremony on the premises of the SHC.

The ceremony was also attended by the judges of the high court, representatives of bar associations and senior lawyers.

Four judges are still short in the SHC as its sanctioned strength of judges is 40.
