KARACHI: Six local teams will compete in the Sindh Sports Board (SSB) Ramazan basketball tournament which gets into action at the Arambagh floodlit court on Monday.

According to an announcement, the teams have been divided into two groups and after the league matches, top two will advance into the semi-finals. The final is slated for June 25 (Saturday).

The winner will be awarded a cash prize of Rs5,000 while runners-up and third position holder gets Rs3,000 and Rs2,000 respectively. Besides Man of the Match of every match, emerging player and top scorer of the event will also be rewarded.

Groups:

A: Bounce Club, Gulshan Hawks and Arambagh Club.

B: Neighbourhood Club, Nishtar Club and Karsaz Club.

Monday’s fixtures:

Arambagh Club v Bounce Club at 10pm; Nishtar Club v Karsaz Club at 11.30pm.
