Pakistan to compete in Doha meet

KARACHI, Nov 22: Pakistani sailors will feature in the three-day second Gulf Trophy international Regatta in Doha from Nov 26 to 28, Pakistan Sailing Federation (PSAF) announced on Saturday.

Pakistan will take part in Laser, Laser 4.7 class and Optimist events. Sailors are attending a training camp at Marina Club to prepare for the forthcoming event.

PSAF named a six-member squad for the championship.

Squad: Muhammad Yousuf (Laser class), Mir Ahmed Mansoor (Laser 4.7), Ujala Mir Mosood, Ghazal Mir Masood, Waleed Tobeh and Ali Akber (all Optimist class).—APP
