KARACHI, Nov 22: As part of the legal education programme initiated by the Chief Justice of the Sindh High Court, the first lecture and panel discussion took place in the Judicial Academy auditorium this week.

The topic of discussion was ‘Writ jurisdiction’, and the panelists included Sindh High Court Bar Association president Muneer A. Malik, Senior Puisne Judge Justice Sabihuddin Ahmed, Justice (retd) Ghous Muhammad and Prof Habibur Rahman.

The interactive discussion was conducted by SHCBA honorary secretary Yawar Faruqui.

The programme envisages lectures and discussions on various topics of substantive law, case law, advocacy skills, and professional ethics. A Continuing Legal Education trust has also been established to facilitate the progress of the programme.
