LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to give another responsibility to former Test cricketer Mudassar Nazar.

This time the post is that of the chairman of the Cricket Committee.

The Board had earlier named him as director academies which charge he is about to take on June 1.

Other members of the Cricket Committee are Iqbal Qasim, Nadeem Khan and Urooj Mumtaz.

There are reports that the PCB is likely to give Mudassar one more responsibility of heading a three-member committee which will finalise central contracts for players, starting from July 1, 2016.

Chief selector Inzamam-ul-Haq and newly appointed head coach Micky Arthur will also be included in the central contracts awarding committee.

It is unclear whether the cricket committee will deal with international affairs or both international and domestic.

The PCB has also formed Domestic Affairs Committee to complicate the matters further. It will be headed by former chairman of cricket committee Shakeel Sheikh.

A Human Resources Committee has also been formed to be headed by Najam Sethi, who is also the chairman of the Executive Committee, the most powerful committee of the PCB.

Zafar Mahmood, Subhan Ahmad, Badar M. Khan are other members of the Human Resources Committee.

An Audit Committee has been formed under Mansoor Masood Khan.
