KARACHI: A youth was shot dead in Ibrahim Hyderi in the early hours of Friday morning, police said.

They added that 20-year-old Ali Raza was sitting along with his friends in Juma Goth when three gunmen riding a motorcycle attacked and killed him.

The victim was an electrician by profession and hailed from Larkana.

Teenager killed

A teenager was strangled after a sexual assault in Orangi Town on Friday, the Mominabad police said.

They added that the body of 18-year-old Adil Khan was recovered from a closed office of the Union Council-11 near Wajid Shaheed Chowk.

The body was taken to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, where doctors confirmed that the young man had been subjected to sexual assault and murdered, said Mominabad SHO Sabir Khattak.

The victim’s father told the police that his son used to do drugs and also underwent medical treatment for rehabilitation. However, during the past one month, the teenager had been missing from his home in Gulshan-i-Ghazi.
