LAHORE: JI emir Sirajul Haq has demanded voting right for expatriates.

At a press conference along with representatives of expatriates here on Thursday, he said the government should immediately give right to vote to the Pakistanis living abroad in accordance with the Supreme Court directions.

He said 10 million overseas Pakistanis were contributing to the economy but they were not being given right to have their say in the formation of government while the embassies also ignored their issues.

He alleged that staff at embassies was busy finding jobs and businesses for their relatives instead of resolving the problems of expatriates.

He demanded that machine passport facility be provided at all embassies to facilitates the expatriates.
