SANGHAR: Six members of two families belonging to Sanghar district lost their lives in the Lahore carnage on Sunday and their bodies have been sent to their native village, Faqir Ji Khohi, situated near Khadro town, some 40 kilometres from Sanghar city.

The victims were among 13 members of three families who had gone to Lahore to meet their relatives. Faiz Mohammed Chanhiyoon, an irrigation employee, his three daughters, Tehmina, 5, Sadaf, 3, and Yasmeen, 2, as well as his brother-in-law Ghulam Hussain Khaskheli and his wife Shahnaz Khaskheli died from their wounds a few hours after the blast. Mr Chanhiyoon’s wife, Najma, two other daughters, Sabina and Samina, a son, Sheeraz and mother-in-law Khatoon Bibi were also wounded in the blast while a third son, Faraz, remained unaccounted for till late Monday evening.

The Khaskheli family was residing in Shafi Colony of Sanghar city.
