LAHORE: Haris Irfan-ul-Haq and Asadullah qualified for the Servis National Junior Ranking Tennis Tournament U-18 final after winning their respective semi-finals at the Bagh-i-Jinnah courts here on Wednesday.

Haris comfortably defeated Hamza bin Rehan 6-2, 6-3 in the first semi-final.

Given his past performances in the tournament, Hamza was expected to pose a threat against Haris, but wilted under pressure.

Asadullah in the other last-four match also recorded an easy 6-3, 6-4 victory against Barkatullah.

In the boys U-18 doubles semi-finals, Barkatullah-Asadullah outclassed Ahmed Kamil and Nalain Abbas 6-3, 6-2 while Haris and Mujahid Khan outplayed Yousuf Khan and Hamza bin Rehan 6-2, 6-0.

Boys U-18 singles: Haris Irfanul Haq bt Hamza bin Rehan 6-2, 6-3; Asadullah bt Barkatullah 6-3, 6-4.

Boys U-18 doubles: Barkatullah-Asadullah bt Ahmed Kamil-Nalain Abbas 6-3, 6-2; Mujahid Khan-Haris bt Yousuf Khan-Hamza bin Rehan 6-2, 6-0.

U-12 boys: Abdul Hannan Khan bt Mohammad Talha Khan 8-1; Faizan Fayyaz bt Syed Mohammad Mustafa 8-4.

U-14 boys: Nalain Abbas bt Mohammad Said 7-5, 6-2; Hamza bin Rehan bt Faizan Shahid 6-2, 6-4.

Girls U-18: Noor Malik bt Insia Bhandari 6-1, 6-0; Shimza Tahir bt Maheen Khan 6-0, 6-0.
